Dr. Maria Victoria “Vixie” P. Tibon has been teaching for more than 10 years including courses in statistics, research methods, economics, management, entrepreneurship, business ethics and computer applications for business. Aside from DLSU, she has taught in St. Scholastica’s College as well. Prior to teaching, she worked in various sales, business development and marketing posts in telecom, travel and real estate companies. She was also Program Manager of Asian Institute of Management’s W. Sycip Graduate School of Business.
Dr. Tibon has conducted trainings or consultancy projects for Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, SM Group of Companies, Riverbanks Development Corporation and Orient Freight International. Her consulting and speaking areas have included research, data analysis, teambuilding and marketing management. She is a member of the Philippine Statistical Association and Academy for Studies in International Business.
She has also published in several international journals. She completed her AB Economics (cum laude) at the University of Asia and the Pacific, her Master of Business Administration at the University of the Philippines-Diliman and her Doctor of Business Administration (with distinction) at De La Salle University.
