Dr. Mao, Yunshi received his Ph.D. in economics at Wuhan University, China in 1993, he is currently service as a professor, PhD supervisor and Director of the business administration & Marketing Center at Sun Yat-sen University of School of Management, China. Now, he also service as the member of Academic Degrees Committee of Guangdong Province, the school degree committee member of the CPPCC National Committee, CPPCC Standing Committee of Guangdong Province, as well as to service as the Editor of
the "risk investment", Taiwan "Sun Yat-sen Management Review", Guangdong "academic research", Guangdong " The journal of Sun Yat-sen University" (Social Sciences) and other famous journal. He also service as a consultant in many Company, for example: Baiyunshan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Sanjiu Group's expert consultants, Chigo Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. Dr. Mao, Yunshi was an Academic Committee and Associate Dean of Management at Wuhan University, and an Academic Committee and Dean of management at Sun Yat-sen University. Dr. Mao Yunshi has been invited to conduct international collaborative research and made address, such as the University of Michigan, USA. Dr. Mao, Yunshi completed and took the 12 national projects, 10 provincial key projects, and 5 research projects of international cooperation issues. He hosted the International Conference of "A Comparative Study of Japanese Management," and "China-EU business relations," and the national conferences of "China's growth".
He has awarded more than ten items for research ones, and the special projects award were in 1990, 1992 by the National Education Commission Science and Technology Progress Award, were the "commodity market econometric model of China" and the "the country's major materials supply and demand model and forecasting system".
In 1991, the Ministry of Personnel and the State Education Commission was commended for "outstanding contributions to the returned scholars". In 1992, Hubei Province awarded for "outstanding contributions to the young experts" .Since 1992, he stared to enjoy special government allowances.
