Short Bio - Dr. Hailin LAN

Professor Hailin LAN, graduated in the early 1982 as bachelor from Department of Politics and History, University of Ningxia, and then got MBA from Gannan University in USA and PhD from Ji'nan University respectively. Now he is the professor and PhD supervisor in the School of Business Administration, South China University of Technology (SCUT) and the Director of Research Center of Chinese Corporate Strategic Management (SCUT), as well as the Director of Research Base of New-industrialization Development and Innovation issued by Ministry

of Education of China. Professor Lanbegan researching, teaching, and consulting on corporate strategic management since 1990. He was one of the experts who first introduced, digested, popularized theories of corporate strategic management, and established textbook of corporate strategic management in China. During over 20 years, Professor Lan has got the two Key Project of State Natural Sciences Foundation and one Key Project of Philosophy and Social Sciences Research from Ministry of Education of China. He was awarded for three times the Excellent Prize of Humanity Social Sciences (Management) issued by Ministry of Education of China, which is the highest reward for social science research in China. He has published 16 monographes and textbooks, and translated 1 textbook, with nearly 100 articles published in important international and domestic academic journals, such as Academy of Management Executive, Management World (China), Nankai Business Review(China), and Journal of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management(China). Among his publications, one paper was cited by Xinhua Tabloid, which is the most important citation journal in China. His lecture named 'Corporate Strategic Management' for undergraduate students has been evaluated as National-Class Course in 2010.
